Booking and Cancellation Policy

Deposits

A non-refundable deposit of NZ$500 is required to reserve your place on the trip or you may pay in full at the time of booking. The remaining balance is due 60 days prior to the start of the trip. If the remaining balance is not paid in full your place will be forfeited.

Cancellations

No refunds will be given if the booking is cancelled within 30 days of departure. If the booking is cancelled between 31 to 60 days prior to departure 50% of the booking value will be forfeit.

We reserve the right to cancel the trip due to unforeseen circumstances. If the trip is cancelled we will arrange an alternative date. In general, the trip will not be cancelled due to the weather forecast. If the weather does limit our time outside climbing we will offer you alternative location or trip objective.

We recommend that you take out your own travel insurance to cover your trip cost.

We have a partnership with the international travel insurance Global Rescue which has over 20years of providing assistance on expeditions all over the world. We are using Global Rescue for our international trips and highly recommend them. It’s a privilege to be able to talk to people that understand tricky alpine rescues and trip expedition cancellation due to unforeseen circonstances..
